Volunteer with vinspired Lake of Stars

Lake of Stars, as part of their partnership with vinspired, is offering the chance to get involved with events and activities in the UK aimed at raising funds and publicity for the vinspired Lake of Stars Festival 2009 powered by volunteers.

The festival has been run and managed for 5 years by a team of volunteers. There is now an opportunity to work with the Lake of Stars team in a number of capacities. We have many projects that will benefit from the passion and commitment of volunteers that support our mission to put on quality music events, in the UK and in Malawi; developing the tourism and entertainment industry and raising funds and profile for charities. 

We are looking for volunteers across all our activities from marketing, pr and digital to event management and promotion, in part time and occasional capacities. We are also interested in hearing from people with ideas for work or projects that support our mission to put on quality music events, and support the tourism and entertainment industry in Malawi.

The roles available will depend on the volunteer skills and experience but we are also keen to recruit in these areas:

Artist liaison, online marketing, stewarding, budgeting, production, street team marketing, PR, guest list management, photography.

All these roles will receive support from the core vinspired Lake of Stars team, who are industry professionals with years of event management and marketing experience in the UK and abroad.

And we are also very keen to hear from volunteers who want put on their own vinspired Lake of Stars 2009 fundraising events.  We can provide support from coming up with an idea for an event to helping you manage and promoting it.  It has to be a not for profit event that covers its own costs and donates profits to charity.
