When is this years festival?
September 30th - 2nd October 2011
Where is it?
Malawi, Mangochi, Sunbird Nkopola Lodge.
Nearest Airports - Lilongwe for flights from Europe.
Blantyre Airport has flights from South Africa and regionally.
How do I get there? Where can I buy tickets?
Internationally from VentureCo with travel packages. Other ticketing still to be sorted.
Where can I stay?
There are loads of option – the best ones are available from our partners check out our Getting There page.
Nkopola Lodge is fully booked. Apart from camping.
What is the line up?
Details coming soon.. Going to be worth the wait. We always like to combine African legends, new interantional acts and the best of Malawian talent across all the genres. Oh and there is theatre and spoken word and dance and fashion and art and artists.
We have also booked a beach and guaranteed sunshine...

What are the aims of the festival?
We aim to put on an international quality arts event in a stunning location, in an amazing country. We also have some really important supporting projects and ambitions. See our About page for more info.
Why Malawi?
Back in 1998 Will Jameson went to Malawi. He came back to the UK and wanted to find a way to open people's eyes to the quality of Malawian arts, people and tourism destinations.

What do I need to travel to Malawi?
You don’t need a Visa if you are a UK passport holder – but it is always advisable to consult your travel agent.
Also be sure to consult your GP about jabs. Pack sun cream and swimmers.
What is there to do?
There is loads to do, lounging, partying, trekking, climbing sailing etc etc . Check out our getting there page for a list of travel partners that have first hand experience of all there is to do in Malawi.
