We are currently working on airport transfer deals and shuttles in the area – more details soon..

What are the aims of the festival?
We aim to put on an international quality arts event in a stunning location, in an amazing country. We also have some really important supporting projects and ambitions.  See our about page for more info.

Why Malawi?

What do I need to travel to Malawi?
You don’t need a Visa if you are a UK passport holder – but it is always advisable to consult your travel agent. Also be sure to consult your GP about jabs.

What is there to do their?
There is loads to do, lounging, partying, trekking, climbing sailing etc etc . Check out our getting there page for some partner promotions or visit www.malawitourism.com

Can I sell stuff at the Lake of Stars?
We have a limited number of vendor pitches please contact tom@lakeofstars.org for more information.

Why is the festival called vinspired Lake of Stars?
In 2009 we became vinspired Lake of Stars in recognition of our partnership with v.  As part of that partnership we run a volunteering programme for young people in England.

How can I get involved?

Who are v?
‘v is an independent charity launched in May 2006 as a result of the Russell Commission report, A National Framework for Youth Action and Engagement. www.vinspired.com is our consumer facing brand and a place where people can search for local volunteering opportunities and share experiences using online tools including blogging and video.  The site is constantly evolving and strives to challenge the traditional perceptions of volunteering trough its look, feel, language and usability’.
