Bateleur

After experiencing unexpected praise with their home recorded debut EP Mountain in early 2010, Cape Town based experimental/instrumental band Bateleur have set their sights on remaining stylistically uncompromising and set forth to create music that is both progressive and nostalgic. Their live set has evolved drastically in the last year and features an array of electronic, orchestral and percussive instruments, condensed into a singular driving musical texture. Bateleur's love for their music is evident in their carefully constructed compositions and raw live energy.
