 It’s now more than a year since Foals released their sophomore effort Total Life Forever, an album that utterly banished that difficult second album syndrome that many hyped British bands of recent years find themselves lumped with, by effortlessly shifting from the math-rock funk of first album Antidotes to a surprisingly icy, thrillingly provocative sound. Recognised as an album of the year at the 2010 Mercury Music Awards , entering the top 10 in the UK album charts, and toured extensively around the globe and at some of the world’s most prolific festivals, the band now have a truly international following. Their blistering live shows have the power to cause jaws to drop and limbs to move.

Lake of Stars have long wanted Foals to perform in Malawi, and the Oxford band are sure to go down a storm by the lake this September.
